MEDICAL RECORDS & VCPR
Kentucky law requires a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) before a veterinarian can diagnose, treat, or prescribe for your pet. This means:
- Your pet must be examined by one of our veterinarians within the past 12 months.
- We have sufficient knowledge of your pet’s health to make informed decisions.
- We maintain complete and accurate medical records.
- A VCPR cannot be established by phone, email, or online only.
Copies of your pet’s medical records can be provided upon request.
