Dr. Keel grew up on a beef cattle farm in Southeastern Alabama, which helped spark his interest in veterinary medicine. He attended Auburn University, and he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in animal sciences in 2019 and a master’s degree in poultry science in 2020. He earned his DVM from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024, and during his time in vet school, he worked in the emergency and critical care department. His special interests include emergency medicine and surgery. He enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, spending time with his friends and family, and playing fetch with his dog. Dr. Keel is eager to help the community with their pet’s needs.
